This day-long meeting focuses on supporting authentic curriculum, effective and innovative practices, and student success in quantitative reasoning across the curriculum. It’s open to all faculty, staff, and students around the region, and registration is free.
This year’s meeting theme is Quantitative Literacy and the Liberal-Arts Core Curriculum. We’ll focus on ways to support students’ quantitative skills not only in their math courses, but especially in other areas of the general education curriculum. Faculty who teach courses like Writing I/II, Foundations of Logical Reasoning, and Public Speaking are especially encouraged to attend.
