On Thursday, April 17 from 3:30-5pm, join the Canadian Studies Program for the Bridgewater, McGill, Plattsburgh Lecture in Canadian Studies--Death of a Canadian: The Corrosive Impacts of Authenticity, with Dr. Christopher Kirkey, Director of the Center for the Study of Canada at SUNY Plattsburgh.

Based on his more than 37 years of residence in the United States, Dr. Kirkey’s talk will examine the experiences of expatriate scholars and the process of writing from abroad, and how the context of doing scholarly work matters.
