Lifestyle: How to Cope with Anxiety and Stress for Better Physical and Mental
Health, a virtual panel discussion to be held on Wednesday, February 3,
2021 from 1-2:30pm.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused widespread stress,
anxiety, loneliness, and in some cases, depression. Panelists Dr. Maria DePina,
Brigham and Women Harbor Medical Associates, South Weymouth; Dr. Jacquelyn
Murphy, Director of Public Health, Milford; and Dr. Christopher Frazer,
Executive Director, BSU Wellness Center will discuss methods and available options
to help us cope during these times. Dr. Jabbar Al-Obaidi of the Minnock
Institute for Global Engagement will moderate.
Organized
by Global Programs, in partnership with the BSU Wellness Center, and the Pedro
Pires Institute for Cape Verdean Studies, the event is open to the BSU
community and the public.
