The Canadian Studies Program invites you to a screening of What If?, a Canadian romantic comedy starring Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan.

In his review for Rolling Stone, Peter Travers said, "Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan spin sweet magic… In this Toronto-set fable, Radcliffe plays Wallace, a med-school dropout, dumped by his GF... Kazan…plays Chantry, an animator Wallace sparks to at a party. [When her] boyfriend, Ben, a budding diplomat, gets a job in Dublin, it’s a chance for Wallace to make a move. Director Michael Dowse (Fubar, Goon) shows a welcome flair for slapstick, especially when Wallace’s roomie Allan (a scene-stealing Adam Driver) is around. What If doesn’t break new ground. But it has charm to spare, and Radcliffe and Kazan are irresistible. No ifs about it."

What If? was a nominee for Best Picture at the Canadian Screen Awards, and winner for Adapted Screenplay. The film screening is open to the BSU Community and the Public. Refreshments will be available. Part of the Canadian Studies Film Series.
