On Wednesday, July 17 from 7-8 p.m., Dr. Krishna Raghavendra will
perform Indian music in concert at the Horace Mann Auditorium. A lecture and
demonstration will enhance the experience.
Dr. Krishna Raghavendra
is an international performing artist, composer, and producer of both
traditional and contemporary Indian music. A virtuoso on the veena, a
traditional plucked stringed instrument from South India, he has developed
novel playing techniques. His background in Indian music includes traditional
Carnatic, Hindustani, folk, devotional, and pop.
